CP Interview by Victor Tan: Interstruct CEO Ryan Young looks to enliven Orlando. December 2023

The Orlando Real

In a pivotal initiative led by Ryan Young and the Interstruct Build & Design team, the Parramore and West Church Street areas are undergoing groundbreaking updates and revitalization. The aspiring projects promise not only economic growth opportunities but also the creation of communal spaces and an emphasis on the arts that will infuse culture and color into the town. The following post outlines every project and includes an in-depth tour of the neighborhood and conversation between Ken Pozek and Ryan Young / November 2023

Interstruct’s Ryan Young has a vision to transform a retention pond eyesore into active space that benefits Parramore. Young and his team are trying to seduce the City into letting them adopt the park and make it more of an amenity for the neighborhood rather than just a gaping hole filled with trash and mosquitoes. Young is proposing to build a bridge/boardwalk over the pond and allow for public gatherings, a place to revive the defunct Parramore Farmers Market, and make it into something really special – while still serving its purpose as a retention pond.
