CBRE Workplace360
CBRE’s signature Workplace360 office is in Tampa’s Heights Union building. Interstruct Tampa is pleased to have been awarded this important project by longtime client CBRE to build their “Future of Work” office. This is 17,500 SF of first generation, Class A office space was designed by CBRE’s Katie Kitchens. From the early stage three-level concrete pour through completion, this project was completed on time and on budget.
The new workplace showcases CBRE’s “Future of Work” space standards, including innovative technology and a wider variety of collaborative spaces, designed to support hybrid working.
“We recognized a great opportunity at Heights Union where we could create a new flexible, technology-enabled space on the ground level, a place more office occupiers are considering today for greater access to the outdoors,” said Mike DiBlasi, managing director at CBRE. “Our Workplace360 office will offer more spaces to collaborate, and our employees will benefit from a growing amenity base nearby, including the Armature Works development.”
“Our CBRE design team drew from the existing building’s industrial influence to create a dynamic space featuring commissioned artwork, a two-story community gathering area with stadium seating and a private outdoor space,” DiBlasi said in a statement.
For CBRE, Workplace360 isn’t just about luring employees back into the office. While the Workplace360 concept pre-dates the pandemic-led conversion to remote and hybrid work, it’s based on convincing corporate clients they need to lease office space — and demonstrating that CBRE offers tailor-made solutions to all of their workplace issues.
“Our new Workplace360 office serves as a showpiece and reflects the best-in-class workplace experience and innovation for our employees and clients,” Peter Van Emburgh, global head of CBRE’s corporate real estate, said in a statement. “In Tampa, we prioritized a variety of work areas and the latest technologies that support hybrid working, embrace diversity in work styles and support productivity and performance.”
The Heights Union is a Class A, premiere mixed-use development that was completed in 2021. It includes two 150,000-sq-ft. office buildings with a 1,500-space parking garage located in the redeveloped Tampa Heights neighborhood.
