Cardiovascular Center of Florida at Sand Lake Commons
Interstruct Design was awarded with design + build of new medical offices for Dr. Israel J. Mantecon and The Cardiovascular Center of Florida.
The comprehensive 12,086 SF office space contains lobby and reception area, private exam rooms, a physicians office and a nurse station. In the reception area, a three-paneled waterfall feature adds a relaxing element for patients. The architectural design and construction also needed to accommodate required lead shielding and specialty medical equipment, including a CT scan machine and a CorCam dedicated cardiac SPECT camera, incorporating Interstruct’s extensive experience and expertise in healthcare construction.
Dr. Mantecon’s cardiovascular center office is part of the larger Sand Lake Commons medical office building, a ground-up design + build project by Interstruct for a group of white-coat investors. The building is also home to offices for Surgical Group of Orlando, designed and built by Interstruct.
