Third Thursday at Parramore Arts Presents CONNECTION by Angelo the Artiste + FUTURE PERSPECTIVES U-Haul Pop-Up Galleries
On Thursday, May 21 from 5–8 p.m., Parramore Arts presents a double-header exhibition at Interstruct Design + Build, 814 W. Church Street, as part of Third Thursday Orlando. A multimedia installation inside ArtCube and four one-night-only U-Haul gallery experiences arrive on the West Church Corridor during Third Thursday Orlando.
CONNECTION by Angelo the Artiste
On view in ArtCube beginning May 21, 2026
Curated by Pat Greene, CONNECTION by Angelo the Artiste transforms ArtCube into a fragmented industrial environment exploring the tension between human connection and electronic connection. At the center of the installation is a half-human, half-robot figure suspended within a factory setting, actively being assembled and repaired — a visual reflection on self-growth, healing, and reinvention.
The installation expands beyond the central figure through exposed wiring, circuitry, disassembled computer parts, and found objects sourced from the Parramore community. Together, these elements create a layered environment grounded in both technological and neighborhood context.
A stop-motion animation documenting the drawing process plays within the cube, adding movement and time to the experience while reinforcing the exhibition’s themes of transformation and reconstruction. The work invites viewers to consider how connection exists across both digital and physical spaces, and how people engage with one another and their communities in real life.
Angelo the Artiste is a self-taught Orlando artist whose work centers on surreal graphite portraiture. With more than 16 years of experience, his practice blends technical precision with imaginative storytelling while exploring identity, emotion, and transformation. In addition to his studio work, Angelo creates murals throughout Orlando, extending his focus on connection and community into the public realm.

FUTURE PERSPECTIVES in the U-Haul Galleries
Curated by Damany Cruikshank, FUTURE PERSPECTIVES brings four artists making their Parramore Arts debut together for an experimental public art activation on the West Church Corridor.
For one night only, four artists will transform U-Haul trucks into immersive gallery spaces at Interstruct, extending the exhibition experience beyond traditional walls and into the public realm.
• Roberto Sébastien: “Centered around the character Grey, this body of work examines what it means to live with the things we create — and how they continue to live with our influence.”
• Heather Naples
• Robb Johnson
• Ishaan Vadhera: “Born in India and shaped by America, I’ve had the privilege of experiencing both the material comforts of technology like the INTERNET and the quieter practice of consistently logging into the INNERNET. My inner-being. My ancient roots taught me that rhythm, ritual, breath, and imagination are the technologies of the mind and body. It was during one of those inner logins that my art character: Psyclopuss, found me when I was in the dark. It reminded me of my own light. It reminded me that the inner technology of pause, presence and coming home to yourself can coexist in our ever revolving technological world.
The temporary installations continue Parramore Arts’ ongoing exploration of accessible public art as part of the activation of the West Church Corridor.”
