ArtCube: Celestial Surrealism

Parramore Arts invited art lovers and celestial aficionados to experience Delia Miller’s immersive art installation, “Celestial Surrealism,” curated by Pat Greene in collaboration with the Corridor Project. This beautiful and brilliant installation opened to the public on Thursday, April 18, 2024 and ran through May at the ArtCube, part of Parramore Arts, a gallery without walls at Interstruct, 814 W. Church St., Orlando, FL 32805.

Miller’s installation showcases a fusion of art, technology, and community engagement. At the heart of “Celestial Surrealism” lies a blend of celestial elements and surrealist aesthetics including wire-frame and mini-sculptures, mural-sized paintings and video projection.

Delia Miller’s visionary concept was brought to life through a mesmerizing array of artistic components.

Wire Frame Sculpture: As the focal point, a large wire frame sculpture intricately combines astronomy with surrealism.

Mini Sculptures: Suspended from the ceiling, mini sculptures crafted from metal, glass, and found objects complement the celestial theme.

Mural Paintings: Stretching across the interior walls and ceiling, mural-sized paintings on canvas immerse viewers in a celestial dreamscape.

Video Projection: Displayed on the central white wall, a captivating video showcases the creative process and astronomical inspiration behind the installation. Join us on April 18th as ArtCube unveils Delia Miller’s “Celestial Surrealism,” a transcendent exploration of art, astronomy, and imagination.
