Neurovations Clinic
Neurovations is an adaptive-reuse medical office building for Dr. Rekha Gandhi on Lee Road in Winter Park, Florida. Adaptively reusing rather than tearing down and building new allowed the structure to attain its highest and best use, while maintaining the scale of the neighborhood and resulting in a clean, modern building owned and operated by Dr. Gandhi.
This was a full design-build project – including interior design – by Interstruct. We utilized a new process by integrating interior design finishes on the front end, enabling the team to generate an interior design package for the client to make decisions while viewing 3D interior design snapshots of their office.
Neurovations Clinic is a good example of how we work directly with a doctor who is investing in their own building, often referred to as white-coat investing. Our architecture studio, Interstruct Design, was able to modernize a tired building with a mansard roof and dated aesthetic. We opened a corner that now features storefront glazing, aluminum awnings and steel framing to achieve a modern look with clean lines, setting a new standard on Lee Road.
