Parramore Infill Redevelopment: 814 W Church Street
What started as a 1940s warehouse in the Parramore Heritage Neighborhood is now the center of our redevelopment of this block of W. Church Street that sits between Exploria Stadium and Camping World Stadium, west of I-4 and the downtown Orlando Central Business District.
This adaptive reuse project has been reimagined as a sustainable structure, including a full solar panel installation, ensuring the health of its users and the surrounding community today and into the future.
The building has developed with the community in mind, from the Unity Mural commissioned to offer a piece of beauty to the neighborhood, to a series of community outreach events to serve the needs of neighbors, and – further into the development process – the earmark of the street-facing retail space to be leased to a Black-owned local business.
814 W. Church Street ties together the storylines of Interstruct’s first 20 years and establishes the direction of the company’s future, continuing the design-build construction projects for which we are known but also developing meaningful urban infill architecture that adds to the community.
