Portal Warehousing

Interstruct recently served as general contractor on a new office for Portal Warehousing at 4121 34th Street in Orlando. Portal Warehousing is built for startups and small businesses that need to move quickly with short- or long-term leases and modular configurations.

The 85,000 SF warehouse building was previously a pharmaceutical manufacturing facility. The highly complicated nature of the building meant that Interstruct needed to demolish and reimage much of the internal aspects in order to rebuild it as a modern, adaptable white shell ready for new tenant. This included reworking the electrical and mechanical systems, and redesigning the facility’s layout to maximize use of space and allow for additional storage. Modular wall systems allow for the ultimate flexibility for incoming businesses, and the original concrete floors were uncovered and patched for a modern industrial look.
