Travel + Leisure HQ

Travel + Leisure Co.’s new global headquarters at 501 W. Church Street represents one of the most significant office repositioning projects completed in downtown Orlando in recent years.

Delivered in just seven months, the five-story, 187,000-square-foot renovation transformed an existing five-story office building into a seamless modern workplace for one of the world’s leading travel companies. The project brings more than 900 employees into the urban core and supports the development of the West Church Corridor as a key extension of downtown Orlando.

Interstruct Design + Build served as general contractor for the $22 million renovation delivered in December 2025. The accelerated schedule required extensive coordination among ownership, design teams, consultants, and trade partners to deliver the office on time for pre-scheduled occupancy.

The project holds particular significance for Interstruct as we had built out offices for past tenants on every floor of 501 W. Church St. The T+L headquarters culminates in the building’s largest transformation to date, once again by Interstruct.

“It couldn’t have been done without the willingness of the project’s general contractor, Orlando-based Interstruct Design + Build,” said Travel + Leisure’s Chief Human Resources Officer Kim Marshall.
“They literally had to gut this building, and then redid pretty much everything you see, other than the outside walls.”

The industry response has been overwhelmingly positive. The project was awarded the 2025 Game Changer Award at the Downtown Orlando Partnership’s Golden Brick Awards, an honor that recognizes developments that have a transformative impact on downtown Orlando. It was also named 2026 Deal of the Year at the Central Florida Commercial Association of Realtors’ Hallmark Awards.

Today, the headquarters stands as a testament to the power of adaptive reinvestment, demonstrating how existing office assets can be repositioned to attract major employers, strengthen the urban core, and contribute to the continued evolution of the West Church Corridor.
